Empowering beginner farmers and communities through

Education

The objective of the Cultivating Resilience Program is to improve the capacities of farmers and ranchers to develop and maintain resilient and environmentally friendly agricultural and forestry operations. The Cultivating Resilience Workshop Series is an educational initiative administered by the Hispanic-American Institute under the Cultivating Resilience Program, subsidized by USDA-OPPE, and developed in collaboration with the Division of Continuing Education and Professional Studies of the University of Puerto Rico at Utuado (DECEP-UPRU). The Cultivating Resilience series consist of 8 educational workshops held on Saturdays, starting in February.
